Kehlani Parrish, known mononymously as Kehlani, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer born on April 24, 1995. Raised in Oakland, California, Kehlani gained recognition with her participation in the group Poplyfe during the sixth season of America's Got Talent. However, it was her solo career that flourished.
Debuting with her mixtape "Cloud 19" in 2014, Kehlani quickly captured attention for her soulful R&B sound and emotionally charged lyrics.
